CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION AND

AWARENESS HILLSDALE COUNTY

The prevention of child abuse and neglect is the primary goal of CAPA.  In an effort to achieve this goal, the community must become aware of child abuse and neglect issues.  To implement prevention programs, CAPA works with local and state agencies to develop programs that address the specific needs of our community’s children.

As a Children’s Trust Fund designed Council, CAPA’s Board of Directors consists of 15 community members.  In addition to agencies who directly work with abused children, the board represents the community at-large.

This Children’s Yellow Pages is designed to put in one location to telephone numbers of services available to families in Hillsdale County.

We would appreciate any suggestions for additions to our Yellow Pages.  If you now of members of agencies that should be added, please contact our office at 437-3100.
